Two so-called court sessions in the so-called case of Mustafa Dzhemilev will take place in one day

On Thursday, July 30, in the so-called city court of Armiansk and the so-called Supreme Court of the occupied Crimea, two so-called court sessions will take place in relation to the national leader of the Crimean Tatars Mustafa Dzhemilev. Lawyer Nikolai Polozov reported about it via his Facebook page.

“On July 30, two court sessions will take place in the case of Mustafa Dzhemilev. One on the main case – in the city court of Armiansk. The beginning is at 10:00. The prosecution will begin to present evidence, and it is expected that several prosecution witnesses will be interrogated”,- the statement said.

The second so-called court session will take place in the so-called Supreme Court of Crimea at 14:00, during which an appeal will be considered for keeping Mustafa Dzhemilev unchanged the preventive measure in the form of detention for a period of 2 months from the moment of his arrest.

Mustafa Dzhemilev is charged under Part 3 of Article 322 of the Criminal Code of Russia – “Illegal crossing of the state border of Russia”, under Part 1 of Article 222 – “Illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation or carrying of weapons, their main parts, ammunition” and under Article 224 – “Careless possession of firearms, which created conditions for its use by another person, if this entailed the death of a person or other serious consequences.”
