Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin arrived in the occupied Crimea, where he examined the Sevastopol section of the Tavrida highway and set the task that all construction works should be completed in 2022 but not in 2023, – this was reported by the press service of the “Government of Sevastopol”.
"A contract has been signed with the VAD company for the first stage of the eighth section. In the near future, the work will begin on three bridge crossings, which are in an unsatisfactory condition to ensure safety. In addition, Marat Khusnullin said that there is a direct instruction from the president to look at additional volumes of road construction."Today we will consider the issue of additional volumes of road construction in the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol. Our task is to make the transport routes of Crimea convenient, comfortable, maximize economic growth,"- he added.
Let us remind that a significant number of trees will be cut down in Sevastopol for building the Tavrida highway. The project includes a huge amount of compensation funds for greenery – about 800 million rubles.
