US Defense Secretary Mark Esper stressed the importance of strengthening NATO to contain Russian aggresion, as it is the source of violations around the world. The press service of the department reports.
“We must contain Russian aggression. We must strengthen NATO and strengthen our partners, which we look forward to”,- the American minister said.
Mark Esper stressed that Russia is a slightly lesser challenge than China, but it is a worldwide troublemaker — annexing Crimea, fighting a war in Ukraine, threatening NATO allies, and sending troops to Syria and Libya.
