On Saturday, July 18, participants of the Russian initiative Strategy-18 held solitary pickets in Russia for the de-occupation of Crimea and in support of the Crimean Tatars. They unfurled posters with the inscriptions: LIBERATECRIMEA, Terrorists without terrorist attacks, Instead of exchange – arrests in Crimea, FSIN kills, Crimea is Ukraine and others. The corresponding photo report was published via their Facebook page by the protesters.
“Now we are witnessing a wave of real terror in Crimea. A blind person was arrested under Article 205 (terrorism) – together with other six so-called suspects. And it was he #Oleksandr_Syzykov, a visually impaired person who was appointed as an organizer of a terrorist organization. What could cause such a decision: deliberate mockery or natural stupidity of the servicemen?”,- say the activists..
The activists stressed that they, as a sign of solidarity with the Crimean Tatar people, organized pickets near the Kursk railway station and would try to acquaint as many people as possible with the problems of Ukraine and the Crimean Tatar people.
