Advisor to the Ukrainian Ombudsman, daughter of ex-political prisoner Edem Bekirov, Eleanora Bekirova, called on all who care to help children who became victims of the punitive system of the Russian Federation and were left without fathers. She wrote about this via her page on Facebook.
“I myself know how difficult it is to wake up in the morning at the thought that your father is being held in the dungeons of an unjust regime. Will I ever see my father? How is he there? Will he be back? It was unbearable. Today the most precious things were taken from these children – their parents were brutally taken away from their very childhood. Instead of simple children's joys, they feel martyrdom, tears and fear. Crimean children – there are 185 of them”,- the message said.
Eleanora Bekirova called on all concerned to unite and help the children of political prisoners.
