The defendants in the so-called third Bakhchisaray Hizb ut-Tahrir case were left in custody

On Tuesday, July 7, the so-called Supreme Court of the occupied Crimea rejected an appeal by lawyers for an extension of the preventive measure against the defendants in the so-called third Bakhchisarai Hizb ut-Tahrir case. Seytumer Seytumerov, Osman Seytumerov and Rustem Seitmememetov will remain in custody until August 9, 2020. It is reported by the Crimean Solidarity public association.

It is noted that Seytumer Seytumerov and Rustem Seitmemetov did not participate in the court session due to their in-patient psychiatric examination.

We remind that on March 11, Russian security officials raided the homes of Crimean Tatars in Bakhchisaray and the Bakhchisaray district. Searches were carried out in the house of Seytumer Seytumerov, Shukri Seytumerov, Amet Suleymanov, Seidamet Mustafayev, Rustem Seitmemetov, Ayder Suleymanov and Seytumer Seytumerov. The activists were detained. On March 12, the so-called Kyiv District Court of Simferopol sent Amet Suleymanov under house arrest. On March 13, the so-called Kyiv District Court of Simferopol chose a measure of restraint in the so-called third Bakhchisaray Hizb ut-Tahrir case in the form of detention. Osman Seytumerov, Seytumer Seytumerov and Rustem Seitememetov will remain in jail until May 10, 2020.

On April 29, the so-called Kyiv District Court of Simferopol extended the detention of individualss involved in the so-called third Bakhchisaray Hizb ut-Tahrir case until August 9, 2020.
