The Ministry of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine called the morning mass searches the next act of pressure from the Russian occupation administration on Crimeans on ethnic and religious grounds. This was reported by the press service of the department.
The statement emphasizes that the Ministry of Integration regards such actions as another act of pressure from the Russian occupation administration on Crimeans on ethnic and religious grounds.
“The Russian Federation systematically violates the rights of citizens in the temporarily occupied Crimea. Dozens of people are imprisoned, lawyers and public activists are constantly getting warnings and threats. Ukraine collects information about all those involved by the occupying state in illegal searches and arrests, violation of international humanitarian standards rights and committing crimes against people in the temporarily occupied territories. Those involved in these crimes should be held accountable, despite the statute of limitations”,- said Ihor Iaremenko, Deputy Minister of Integration.
We remind that on July 7, Russian security forces conducted mass searches in the dwellings of Crimean Tatars in the Bakhchisaray, Krasnohvardiiske and Simferopol regions of the occupied Crimea. Seven people were detained. All were taken to the FSB in Simferopol.
