The German Embassy in Ukraine condemned the referendum on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation on the territory of the occupied Crimea, as this violates the right of Ukraine to territorial integrity and political independence. This was reported by the department via its Twitter page.
“Holding a Russian referendum on amendments to the Constitution in Crimea is unacceptable. This violates the right of Ukraine to territorial integrity and political independence. We stand on the side of Ukraine and emphasize: #CrimeaIsUkraine #CrimeaIsNotYours”,- the statement said.
