The US Embassy in Ukraine stated that the Russian unauthorized construction and continued use of the Kerch Bridge is one of the reasons for maintaining strict sanctions against the Russian Federation. This was reported by the agency via its Twitter page.
“Russian unauthorized construction and continued use of the bridge in the Kerch Strait, which impedes navigation in the strait, daily reminds us of the illegal capture and occupation of Crimea by Russia. This is another reason for the preservation of strict sanctions”,- the statement said.
