With the assistance of the prosecutor’s office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Vasyl Hanysh, ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the ARC, was sentenced to 12 years in prison for committing treason. This was reported by the press service of the department via Telegram.
“At the time the court verdict entered into legal force, the convict was not in custody and still unreasonably continued to be free, now Vasyl Hanysh has been detained and placed in the state institution “Kyiv pre-trial detention center”,- the statement said.
Recall that on November 19, 2018, the Dniprovsky District Court of Kiev sentenced Vasily Ganysh, an ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the ARC, to 12 years in prison. He was found guilty of treason.
