Political prisoner Rustem Seitmemetov subjected to a forced psychiatric examination

The defendant in the so-called third Bakhchisaray Hizb ut-Tahrir case Rustem Seitmemetov was subjected to a forced psychiatric examination. At the moment, the political prisoner is in the detention center of Simferopol. It is reported by the Crimean Solidarity public association.

“Today I managed to meet with my client Seitmemetov Rustem. Last month he was subjected to a forced forensic psychiatric examination, but now he is already in the detention center of the city of Simferopol”,- said lawyer Nazim Sheikhmambetov.

We remind that on March 11, Russian security officials raided the homes of Crimean Tatars in Bakhchisaray and the Bakhchisaray district. Searches were carried out in the house of Seytumer Seytumerov, Shukri Seytumerov, Amet Suleymanov, Seydamet Mustafayev, Rustem Seitmemetov, Ayder Suleymanov and Seytumer Seytumerov. The activists were detained. On March 12, the so-called Kyiv District Court of Simferopol sent Amet Suleymanov under house arrest. On March 13, the so-called Kyiv District Court of Simferopol chose a measure of restraint in the so-called third Bakhchisaray Hizb ut-Tahrir case in the form of detention. Osman Seytumerov, Seytumer Seytumerov and Rustem Seitememetov will remain in jail until May 10, 2020.

On April 29, the so-called Kyiv District Court of Simferopol extended the detention of individualss involved in the so-called third Bakhchisaray Hizb ut-Tahrir case until August 9, 2020.
