The Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, Liudmyla Denisova, condemned the decision of the occupiers regarding the defendant in the Yalta “Hizb ut-Tahrir case” and the Crimean political prisoner Yunus Masharipov. Denisova calls for continued pressure on the Russian Federation to end repressions in the occupied peninsula. She reported this on her Facebook page.

“The Russian“ Military Court of Appeal” and the “Supreme Court of the Republic of Crimea” affirmed illegal decisions in trumped-up criminal cases against Muslim Aliyev, Enver Bekirov, Emir-Huseyn Kuku, Vadim Siruk, Refat Alimov, Arsen Dzhepparov, and Yunus Masharipov", the message says.

In addition, it is noted that repression against Ukrainians, who are illegally detained by the Russian Federation, continue. In particular, Teymur Abdullaev spent more than 120 days in a pre-trial detention center, Tofik Abdulgaziev suffers from psychological pressure, and Ruslan Suleymanov undergoes forced psychiatric examination.

“I urge to continue the pressure on the Russian Federation to end repressions against the indigenous people, and to release all “Prisoners of Kremlin”, added Denisova.
