In December 2022, a resident of Akyar (Sevastopol) was detained on suspicion of treason. This is reported by the FSB of Russia.
According to speaking Russian authorities, the 47-year-old planned to set fire to one of the city’s administrative offices.
“He was looking for means and instruments of arson, and also created the conditions for the commission of a crime, but did not have time to complete it due to the detention”,- the department told reporters.
He faces up to fifteen years in prison.
