Marlen Asanov, a defendant in the so-called Bakhchisaray “Hizb ut-Tahrir case”, has his health deteriorated: he complains of toothache, is troubled by kidney problems, and also has varicose veins. The Crimean Tatar Resource Center was informed about this by his wife Aishe Asanova.
The wife emphasized that it was not possible to solve the problem with dental treatment. In addition, there were problems with the kidneys, but the doctor in the pre-trial detention center listened to Marlen’s complaints and prescribed medications without any analysis.
“Also, varicose veins appeared and at the last trial for prolongation he felt ill, he called a doctor twice, the pressure rose to as much as 150, the doctor prescribed a bunch of drugs again, also blood-thinning troubles him, this is due to varicose veins. Although the pressure had never bothered my spouse before. I again handed over the prescribed medications and also handed him the vitamins, as his body was completely weakened,”,- she said.
