In Russia, three people were detained at the Presidential Administration of Russia: Ekaterina Bazhanova, Karine Kovkhaeva and Kirill Shishkanov for pickets in support of the Crimean Tatars. Activists were released with an obligation to appear to draw up a protocol under the article “on violation of the rules for holding a public event.” This was reported by the Russian human rights portal “OVD-info”.
"Bazhanova stood with a poster in support of Konstantin Kotov, convicted of "repeated violations of the rules for holding public events" and Kovkhaeva and Shishkanov – in support of the Crimean Tatars,"- the message said.
After some time, all the detainees were released from the police department with an obligation to appear to draw up a protocol under the article “on violation of the rules for holding a public event” (Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses ).
