June 18, 2020

The so-called Minister of Housing and Communal Services of the occupied Crimea, Dmitry Chernyaev, said that the construction of a new polyethylene water conduit to the Inter-mountain hydroelectric station is about 5 kilometers long. He reported this via his Facebook page.

Chernyaev said that the hydraulic system, which was built in 1989 and was used until 2014, was restored. In addition, the laying of a new polyethylene water conduit to the Intermountain hydroelectric complex is being completed. Its length is about 5 kilometers. Artesian water will come from the Ivanovo water intake.

“Both sources will provide Simferopol residents and residents of nearby villages with 55 thousand cubic meters of water per day. This is a third of the daily requirement. Putting new sources into the water supply system will allow to reduce the load on the Ayansk, Simferopol and Partizan reservoirs in the dry season”,- the report said.
