The Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine sent a draft format of future districts – their number and composition for each region and Autonomous Republic of Crimea – for approval by the central executive authorities, regional state administration and association of local self government. This was reported by the press service of the department.
"The Ministry of Regional Development sent for approval a draft resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine regarding future regions in Ukraine. Of course, this project is not a dogma. Still proposals will be introduced that will be considered and if they do not contradict the criteria that future regions should meet, they will be taken into account ", – said Deputy Minister of of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Vyacheslav Nehoda.
It is noted that future districts should be optimal in their parameters in order to organize an effective public administration system in them, in particular, the formation of effective executive bodies at this level.
