June 9, 2020

In the occupied Crimea, despite the spread of coronavirus infection, a camp gathering of intelligence units of the army corps of the Black Sea Fleet began. The event entails about 200 troops and more than 50 units of military and special equipment. This was reported by the press service of the Black Sea Fleet of Russia.

“A feature of this camp gathering will be that scouts of various formations and units of the army corps of the Black Sea Fleet will conduct training in unfamiliar areas with relocation to various training ranges”,- the report said.

It is noted that the event attracted about 200 troops and more than 50 units of military and special equipment.

It is noted that planned exercises take place at various times of the day at combat training grounds on the territory of the Crimean peninsula.

We remind that in the occupied Crimea, military exercises, propaganda for military service and conscription into the armed forces of the Russian Federation are regularly held. The Russian military exercises destroy the ecosystem of the peninsula and are a gross violation of international law.

Earlier, in a statement on Crimea, NATO condemned the ongoing large-scale buildup of Russia's military power in Crimea and expressed concern about Russia's efforts and stated plans to further build up military power in the Black Sea region.
