Server Mustafayev, a defendant in the so-called second Bakhchisaray Hizb ut-Tahrir case urged the international community to adhere to an even stronger position with regard to Crimea and not to stop fighting until “we achieve the desired result.” This was reported by the Crimean Solidarity public association via its Facebook page.
"I urge human rights defenders and politicians from around the world, taking into account lawlessness and unjust actions at today's court, at previous meetings in the Southern District Military Court, to take even more active and effective measures. Adhere to an even firmer and more serious position. And the result of this undoubtedly should be visible. In this regard, I urge the whole world not to stop its struggle, to further intensify its activity until we achieve the desired result”,- the report said.
In addition, Mustafayev urged to remember every political prisoner, every family of a political prisoner and not to forget: “besides us, about 100 political prisoners, hundreds and thousands of compatriots from our people in Crimea, that are currently kept in a prison-like situation.”
“Every week, or every month, they should go out in front of the Russian embassies of their countries with our names, photos, and the names of our families; they should not let anyone forget about this flagrant aggression,” he stressed.
We remind that on May 21, 2018, Russian security forces raided the homes of activists of the Crimean Solidarity public association in the occupied Crimea, as a result of which Server Mustafayev and Edem Smailov were detained. They are accused of participating in the organization Hizb ut-Tahrir, which is banned on the territory of the Russian Federation.
On December 14, 2018, Server Mustafayev was sent to a psychiatric hospital for a so-called examination. Mustafayev himself described his placement in a psychiatric hospital as a punitive psychiatry.
In February 2019, Mustafayev was accused of spreading, studying and propagating extremist ideology.
On September 12, 2019, eight detainees in the so-called second Bakhchisaray Hizb ut-Tahrir case – Marlen Asanov, Server Zekiryayev, Memet Belyalov, Seyran Saliiev, Ernest Ametov, Timur Ibrahimov, Edem Smailov and Server Mustafayev were transferred from Crimea to Rostov-on-Don.
