On Wednesday, June 3, before the Field Day 2020 conference, the so-called head of the occupied Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, said that the main problem today is drought. Russian authorities continue to support farmers.
“Today, the main problem for us is drought. Unfortunately, this year has been one of the driest. According to the results of 150 years of observation, we have the least amount of precipitation this year. This almost never happened. Nevertheless, in recent days, fortunately, the weather has already changed for the better. We hope that such dynamics will continue”, – Aksyonov said.
It is noted that the Russian authorities in Crimea continue to provide agricultural producers with support at the same level as last year – 3 billion rubles were allocated from the Russian budget.
