The defendant in the so-called Hizb ut-Tahrir case Enver Seitosmanov was transferred to the Russian Federation

May 19, 2020

The defendant in the so-called Hizb ut-Tahrir case Enver Seitosmanov, whom the invaders sentenced to 17 years in a maximum security colony, was transferred to the Russian colony. It is reported by the Crimean solidarity public association.

“We don’t know where the Federal Penitentiary Service will transfer him in the end. As a rule, this becomes known only after the Service notifies relatives in writing, or in the colony the administration provides an opportunity to make an official call. We will keep the situation under control”,- the lawyer Emil Kurbedinov claimed.

We remind that on May 10, 2018, in the village of Orlyne, Sevastopol, Russian security forces searched the house of two siblings – Ernest Seitosmanov and Enver Seitosmanov. The first was released after interrogation, and Enver was arrested on suspicion of involvement in the Hizb-ut-Tahrir organization, which is banned in Russia. During this period, the right to a fair trial and the healthcare access was repeatedly violated against him.
