“According to the prevailing abnormal tradition, on the eve of the mourning day, for the Crimean Tatar people, we are given warnings about the inadmissibility of violating the law on countering extremism. However, neither before nor after the action with the portraits of Stalin, its organizers did not receive any warnings and moreover were not punished, as this provocation provokes the righteous indignation of hundreds of thousands of Crimean residents, besides the authors of various articles and posts on social networks that insult people on ethnic grounds were also left unpunished!" – noted Zair Smedliaiev.
Recall that the Crimean Tatar Resource Center reported that since the beginning of 2020, in the occupied Crimea, 49 Crimean Tatar activists received warnings from the Russian "authorities" about the inadmissibility of unauthorized events.
