On Friday, May 15, Nariman Dzhelyal, activist and first deputy chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, received a warning from the so-called Russian authorities about the inadmissibility of unauthorized events such as rallies, marches, and gatherings. He reported this via his Facebook page.
Earlier, the Crimean Tatar Resource Center reported that since the beginning of 2020, in the occupied Crimea, 49 Crimean Tatar activists received warnings from the so-called Russian authorities about the inadmissibility of unauthorized events.
The Crimean Tatar Resource Center emphasizes that these actions are regarded as another fact of pressure on the Crimean Tatar people, who do not agree with the temporary occupation of the peninsula.
