The Russian human rights center Memorial recognized political prisoners in the so-called case of Ukrainian saboteurs Vladimir Dudka and Oleksiy Bessarabov as political prisoners. The organization believes that the FSB did not provide significant evidence of the crime, there are no biological traces of the defendants on the explosives found in the cache. This was reported via the website of the center.

“From our point of view, the FSB did not provide significant evidence of the crime. So, on the so-called explosive devices found in the cache there are no biological traces of the defendants. Despite the fact that they were watched externally with video recordings and the phones were tapped, they couldn’t be taken red-handed. There are no video or audio recordings in the case, at least indirectly confirming the preparation of sabotage”,- the report said.

The organization emphasizes that the case of Dudka and Bessarabov was fabricated by the Russian authorities for propaganda purposes, as part of a long campaign to create the image of the enemy from Ukraine and its citizens.
