Occupants liquidated out two nature reserves in Crimea

May 13, 2020

On Wednesday, May 13, during a meeting of the so-called Council of Ministers of the occupied Crimea, the so-called Head of the Peninsula’s Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources stated that the Opuk and Kazantyp nature reserves are being liquidated.

“It was decided to liquidate the Opuk nature reserve state budget institution. Similar is the situation with the Kazantyp nature reserve”,- Naraev said.

It is noted that such a decision was made with the goal of ostensibly optimizing the management of subordinate institutions, and due to the creation of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Directorate of Protected Areas “Reserve Crimea””.
