On Tuesday, May 12, the Crimean Prosecutor’s Office announced suspicion to two more members of the illegal armed group Rubezh, who participated in the seizure of the headquarters of the Naval Forces of Ukraine in Sevastopol. This was reported by the press service of the department.
“The prosecutor’s office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, together with the National Police of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, suspect two more members of the illegal armed group Volunteer People’s Squad Rubezh under Part 2 of Article 260 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (“the creation of armed groups not prescribed by law or participation in their activities”). The sanction of the alleged Article provides for imprisonment for a term of three to eight years with or without confiscation of property”,- the statement said.
It is noted that the suspects were put on the wanted list, measures are being taken to establish their whereabouts.
