On Tuesday, May 12, the “court” of the occupied Crimea for the fourth time imposed a fine of 150 thousand rubles to the chairman of Sudak regional Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Ilver Ametov. This was reported by the First Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Nariman Dzhelyal via his Facebook page.
"The court has imposed another fine of 150 thousand rubles to the chairman of Sudak regional Mejlis, Ilver Ametov, for revealed violations in his entrepreneurial activity. For the past six months, this is the fourth court. The total amount of fines was about 275 thousand rubles," the statement said.
Ilver Ametov is sure that the authorities carry out these actions against him for his political position and social activities.
We want to remind that on September 27, Russian security officials searched the household and cafe of the chairman of Sudak regional Mejlis, Ilver Ametov. During the search, "law enforcers" seized the identity card of a member of the local Mejlis and antique items from the private museum of Ilver Ametov, including 4 bayonet-knives made in 1833-1933. The man has all the necessary documents for all exhibits of the museum.
On November 7, a so called “court hearing” was held in Sudak “world court” of the occupied Crimea, on the administrative protocol against the chairman of Sudak regional Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Ilver Ametov whose house had been earliar searched. Ametov was fined 300 rubles.
