Two more deaths from COVID-19 registered in the occupied Crimea

On Tuesday, May 12, during a meeting of the operational headquarters to counter COVID-19, the so-called head of the occupied Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, said that that two more deaths from the virus had been recorded over the past day. At the moment, 338 cases of coronavirus infection were detected on the peninsula.

“Over the past day, two women have died, it is not established yet, probably from concomitant diseases, but they were infected with COVID-19,” Aksenov said.

"Deputy Prime Minister" of Crimea Elena Romanovskaya said that the patients were in serious condition. They had a number of concomitant serious chronic diseases. The investigation  of the causes of death is in progress.
