The European Union adopted a new declaration, which states that the EU will never recognize the illegal annexation of Crimea, and Russia has been called the country that is responsible for the conflict in Ukraine. This was reported by the Brussels correspondent of the Polish Radio.

“If we are talking about Russia, then, as I found out, not everyone wanted to agree to use harsh rhetoric about Moscow’s responsibility for the conflict in Ukraine. Poland, with the support of the Baltic countries, as well as Finland, Sweden, the Netherlands and Denmark, believed that we should directly write about Russian aggression against Ukraine. At the end, a compromise text was agreed on, which says about the illegal annexation of Crimea, and that the European Union will never recognize this annexation. And, moreover, Russia was called the country that is responsible for this conflict”,- the message emphasized.
