The Investigative Committee of Russia in the occupied Crimea has completed the preliminary investigation in the so-called case against the leader of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Dzhemilev. A new so-called criminal case was launched in relation to “unidentified individuals” under Part 3 of Article 322 of the Criminal Code. This was reported by lawyer Nikolai Polozov via his Facebook page.
“The Investigative Committee of Russia in the occupied Crimea has completed the preliminary investigation of the case against Mustafa Dzhemilev. The investigation also provided the defense with a notice on the allocation of a criminal case against unidentified individuals under Part 3 of Article 322 of the Criminal Code”,- the statement said.
It is noted that Mustafa Dzhemilev is charged under Part 3 of Article 322 of the Criminal Code of Russia – “Illegal Crossing of the State Border of Russia”, under Part 1 of Article 222 – “Illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation or carrying of weapons, their main parts, ammunition” and under Article 224 – “Careless storage of firearms, creating conditions for its use by another person, if this entailed the death of a person or other serious consequences.”
