Occupants save on residents of Crimea and spend money on the war – Senchenko

The ex-MP of the Verkhovna Rada and the ex-deputy prime minister of the Republic of Crimea Andrii Senchenko believes that there is enough water on the occupied peninsula for indigenous people, but the invaders do not want to spend money on it. The Russian government is saving on residents of Crimea, as it is better to spend money on the war. It is reported by OBOZREVATEL internet media.

“I’m talking about Ukrainian citizens who live there. There are 2 million of them. There is an official norm of physiological water consumption per person. For example, for the Krasnodar Region of the Russian Federation it is 48 cubic meters per year. That is enough for cooking, taking a bath, washing, for a bathroom cleaning. Approximately, let it be 50 cubes”,- said Senchenko.

The ex-MP estimated that at the moment in the occupied Crimea there are 15 times more water than the indigenous people need.

“But in order to collect water, the invaders need to invest money: build water pipes, treatment facilities. They don’t want to do this. They save on residents of Crimea, instead, they spend money on the war”,- he explained.

Senchenko believes that if Ukraine agrees to supply water to the peninsula, the occupants will remain in Crimea for a long time. And they will again spend the saved money on the war with Ukraine.
