Missile ship makes the transition from occupied Sevastopol to the Mediterranean Sea

April 21, 2020

A small missile ship of the Black Sea Fleet makes the transition from occupied Sevastopol to the Mediterranean Sea, where it will become part of the forces of the permanent group of the Russian Navy. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.

“The crew of the ship makes a planned transition from Sevastopol to the Mediterranean Sea, where it will become part of the forces of the permanent group of the Navy of the Russian Federation in the far sea area”,- the report said.

It is noted that during the passage by sea, the crew of the ship performed a series of illegal naval combat exercises in the training ranges of the fleet in the Black Sea.

We remind that in the occupied Crimea, military exercises, propaganda for military service and conscription into the armed forces of the Russian Federation are regularly held. The Russian military exercises destroy the ecosystem of the peninsula and are a gross violation of international law.

Earlier, in a statement on Crimea, NATO condemned the ongoing large-scale buildup of Russia's military power in Crimea and expressed concern about Russia's efforts and stated plans to further build up military power in the Black Sea region.
