Ukraine and Crimea are closely linked by their historical past. Peaceful and allied relations between Ukrainian Cossacks and Crimean Tatars began to emerge at the beginning of the 16th century.
Thus, more than 399 years ago, on January 3, 1625, the first military-political alliance in history was concluded between the Zaporizhzhia Sich and the Crimean Khanate – the Bazavluk Agreement. This military-political alliance was directed against a common enemy – Muscovy.
Now we are still continuing the fight against the same common enemy – the Russian Federation.
No matter what, we hold our ground and resist together. The Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar peoples not only have common colors on their flags, but also have one goal – a free, integral and independent Ukraine.
