On Thursday, February 27 at 7 pm, the second annual music festival “Songs for Freedom” dedicated to the idea of freedom will take place in Kyiv at Monte Ray concert hall. Funds collected by event organizers (Liberal Democratic League of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Center for Free Hong Kong and the Crimean Tatar Resource Center) will be distributed among the children of the political prisoners in Crimea.
Event organizers will ensure transparent fundraising and distribution among the children of the political prisoners in Crimea. Funds will be collected through entrance fee (starting from 50 UAH).

On February 28, 2019, the charity music festival “Songs for Freedom”, dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the occupation of Crimea, was held in the concert hall Teply Lampovy. Attending the event, Ukrainian youth showed solidarity with political prisoners of Crimea and the Crimean Tatar people and collected 10 thousand hryvnias for children left without breadwinners on the peninsula. In addition, it was decided to hold the “Songs for Freedom” festival annually.
