Since 2014, the Crimean Tatar Resource Center has recorded 33 arrests on charges of participation in the Noman Chelebidzhikhan voluntary battalion: 13 in occupied Crimea, 20 in the occupied Kherson region after February 24, 2022.

During the period of a full-scale war in Ukraine, we recorded 20 arrests of Crimean Tatars and Ukrainians in the territory of the occupied Kherson region:
On March 4, a resident of the town was arrested. Rykovo, Deputy Chairman of the Kherson Regional Majlis of the Crimean Tatars Nasrulla Seydaliev
On March 31, Novoalekseevka resident Rustem Gugurik was arrested
On April 9, Kherson resident Arsen Ibraimov was arrested
On April 11, Genichesk resident Artur Mametshaev was arrested
On April 14, Crimean Tatar Rustem Osmanov was arrested
On May 20, a resident of the village of Azovskoye, Ruslan Abdurakhmanov, was arrested
On May 25, a resident of the village was arrested. Partisans of the Genichesk region of Aider Umerov
On June 5, a resident of the Kherson region, Memet Dolgopolov, was arrested
On June 18, a resident of the village of Novoalekseevka, Kherson region, Konstantin Tereshchenko, was arrested
On July 21, a resident of the village was arrested. Salkovo Genicheskogo district Igor Khalilov
On July 22, a resident of Genichesk, Alexei Kiselev, was arrested
In July, Novoalekseevka resident Sergei Gudim was arrested
On August 12, a resident of Genichesk, Crimean Tatar Akim Gafarov was arrested
In August, two residents of the Kherson region, Crimean Tatars Khalil Ametov and Mamed Mustafayev, were arrested
On March 16, Crimean Tatar Rustem Virati was arrested in Novoalekseevka
On May 25, three people were arrested in the Kherson region
On September 4, Nariman Ablyazov was arrested in Genichesk
All these people are accused of participating in the Noman Celebidzhikhan volunteer battalion.
Let us recall that on June 1, 2022, the Supreme Court of Russia granted the claim of the Prosecutor General’s Office for the recognition of the Crimean Tatar Volunteer Battalion named after. Noman Celebidzhikhan as a terrorist organization and a ban on his activities on the territory of the Russian Federation.
