After the occupation of Crimea, the Russian Federation actively practices transportation of political prisoners to its territories. For the 9 months of 2019, there were recorded 69 cases of illegal transportation of political prisoners, 64 of which targeted the representatives of the indigenous Crimean Tatar people. This was reported in the new analysis of human rights violations in Crimea for the 9 months of 2019 by the Crimean Tatar Resource Center.
For this period, such people were transported to the territory of the Russian Federation: former political prisoner Volodymyr Balukh, left-wing activist Yevgeny Karakashev, civil journalist Nariman Memedeminov, Dmitry Dolgopolov and Anna Sukhonosova, who are accused of state treason, the defendants of Yalta “Hizb ut-Tahrir case” – Emir-Usein Kuku , Vadim Siruk, Muslim Aliyev, Enver Bekirov, Arsen Dzhepparov and Refat Alimov, defendants of the second Simferopol “Hizb ut-Tahrir case” – Tofik Abdulgaziev, Izzet Abdullaev, Vladlen Abdulkadyrov, Medzhit Abdurakhmanov, Belyal Adilov, Enver Ametov, Osman Arifmemetov, Farhod Bazarov, Akim Bekirov, Remzi Bekirov, Servet Gaziev, Dzhemil Gafarov, Riza Izetov, Alim Karimov, Seyran Murtaza, Yashar Muedinov, Erfan Osmanov, Seytveli Seytabdiev, Rustem Seithalilov, Ruslan Suleymanov, Shaban Umerov, Rustem Sheykhaliev, Asan Yanikov, the defendants in the second Bakhchysarai “Hizb ut-Tahrir case” – Marlen Asanov, Server Zekiryayev, Memet Belyalov, Seyran Saliev, Ernes Ametov, Timur Ibragimov, Eden Smailov and Server Mustafayev, as well as the defendant of “Hizb ut-Tahrir case” Enver Seitosmanov.
In addition, during this period, fifteen defendants of the second Simferopol “Hizb ut-Tahrir case” were transported back to Crimea to be identified as a “secret witnesses”.
The defendants of the Bakhchysarai “Hizb ut-Tahrir case”, Enver Mamutov and Remzi Memetov, were transferred from the pre-trial detention center in Pyatigorsk to correctional colony No. 11 of the Stavropol Krai of the Russian Federation; Zevri Absseitov was transported from the pre-trial detention center in Rostov-on-Don to colony No. 1 in the village of Kochubeevskoe in Stavropol Krai.
