Red Book listed pine trees have cut down in Sevastopol

In Sevastopol in the occupied Crimea, in the area surrounding the shopping center “Ocean”, Brutian pines, listed in the Red Books of the Russian Federation and the city of Sevastopol, were cut down. The total damage was calculated and is evaluated to be 23 590.44 rubles. This was reported on the website of Sevprirodnadzor executive body.

“Due to the measures taken in coordination with representatives of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Lenins’ky district, the individuals involved in this logging were detained at the crime scene. Materials on illegal logging were sent to the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Lenins’ky district. The experts of Sevprirodnadzor calculated the damage, which is evaluated to be 23,590.44 rubles", – the message claims.
