Pro-Ukrainian Activist Oleg Prikhodko Indicted in Occupied Crimea

In the occupied Crimea, the Russian FSB indicted pro-Ukrainian activist Oleg Prikhodko. He is charged with preparing for the terrorist attack under part 1 of article 30 of the Criminal Code of Russia and part 1 of article 205 of the Criminal Code of Russia, as well as with the illegal manufacture of explosives in accordance with part 1 of article 223.1 of the Criminal Code of Russia. It is reported by “Krym.Realii” with reference to his lawyer Nazim Sheikhmambetov.

“Today investigative actions were carried out in relation toUkrainian political prisoner, Oleg Arkadyevich Prikhodko. He was indicted and assigned a set of examinations by an investigator,such as psychiatric, biological, explosive and comprehensive linguistic examinations. Oleg Prikhodko is charged with preparation for a terrorist attack under part 1 of article 30 of the Criminal Code of Russia and part 1 of article 205 of the Criminal Code of Russia, as well as with the illegal manufacture of explosives according to part 1 of article 223.1 of the Criminal Code of Russia,”said the lawyer.

Previously, on February 8, Russian security forces have searched the household of pro-Ukrainian activist Oleg Prikhodko in the village of Orekhovo, Saki District.

On October 9, in the occupied Crimea in the city of Saki, Russian security forces again broke into the home of pro-Ukrainian activist Oleg Prikhodko and kidnapped him. On October 10, another search wasconducted in his house, this time his wife Lyubov Prikhodko was detained. The man is accused of “terrorism” and “the manufacture of explosives,” while the woman was detained as a witness, but already released. On October 10, in the occupied Crimea, the Kyiv district "court" arrested Oleg Prikhodko until December 10.
