Major prisoner swap with Russia is postponed until next week as reported by Radio Liberty referring to their sources in Ukrainian security forces.
The same information has previously been reported by Valentin Rybin, the Russians' defense attorney. He claimed his defendants are still located in the detention center in Ukraine and named Tuesday, 3 September, a possible exchange date, reports Radio Liberty.
Previously, relatives of Ukrainian sailors told Krym.Realii that detainees have been transferred to Ukraine but this has not been confirmed yet.
In the morning, 30 August, the representative of the Ukrainian Security Service, Elena Gitlianskaya, wrote on her Facebook page that “the complicated negotiation process regarding the prisoner exchange is on its way” and called “not to spread unverified information”.
The Office of President Volodymyr Zelensky also informed that the process of mutual release of prisoners is underway and called to think about the repercussions of disinformation.
