Recall that on March 27, Russian security forces in occupied Crimea carried out mass searches in 26 houses of Crimean Tatars. Some activists were seized literature, which, according to Crimean Solidarity initiative, the security forces planted themselves. In addition to books and brochures, people were confiscated phones, tablets, laptops, passports. The law enforcers behaved rudely. It is reported that they applied physical force against detainees. Everyone is accused of involvement in the Hizb ut-Tahrir organization banned in the Russian Federation. In August, the court hearings are held on extention the preventive measure to the defendants in the second Simferopol “Hizb ut-Tahrir case”. They are left in custody until November 14-15, 2019.
