The defendant in the so-called “case of Ukrainian saboteurs” Evgeniy Panov, who is being held in the Russian colony No. 6 in the city of Omsk, is not provided with medical assistance. This was announced on his Facebook page by his brother Ihor Kotelianets’.
“The health problems are all the same (headaches, backaches, joints, teeth), so far they haven’t conducted any examinations or any medical help", – voiced Kotelianets
According to him, the relatives made sure that Panov was handed over the glasses, because during his detention in Simferopol’s pre-trial detention center and during his subsequent prisoner transport, his vision deteriorated.
We remind that on the 10th of August 2016, the FSB announced the prevention of a terrorist attack in Crimea, allegedly prepared by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Later, Evgeniy Panov, Andrey Zakhtey and others involved in this so-called “case” were arrested, being accused of their involvement in a “diversion”. The Ukrainian side rejected any allegations and called it a provocation.
On the 13th of July 2018, the so-called Supreme Court of Crimea sentenced the defendant in the so-called “case of Ukrainian saboteurs” Evgeniy Panov to 8 years in a maximum security colony.
On the 5th of December 2018, it became known that Evgeniy Panov was transferred from Moscow to Simferopol. Later, his lawyer Olga Dinze announced that the man was transferred from the Crimea to Russia again. For some time, the whereabouts of Panov remained unknown. Later, the CTRC, referring to the brother of a political prisoner, reported that at first the man was taken from Crimea to Krasnodar, then he was transferred to Orenburh, from Orenburh to Cheliabins'k, and then to Tyumen'. On the 29th of January, Evgeniy Panov was delivered to Oms'k after the illegal transfer.
