Now, according to the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, 147 political prisoners are serving their sentences in colonies, 99 of whom are representatives of the indigenous Crimean Tatar people. At the moment, according to the CTRC, 302 political prisoners and those prosecuted in criminal cases during the occupation of Crimea have been recorded, 203 of them are representatives of the Crimean Tatar people.
This category consists of 5 components depending on the status of the person being persecuted:

– have restrictions or on probation (34, 19 – Crimean Tatars);
– in detention facilities (36, 25 – Crimean Tatars);
– released (53, 33 – Crimean Tatars);
