The Investigation Department of the FSB of Russia has completed a preliminary investigation into the so-called case of political prisoner Ivan Yatskin, who is accused of alleged high treason in the form of espionage. Lawyer Nikolai Polozov reported this via his Facebook page.

“Last night, the Investigation Department of the FSB of Russia completed a preliminary investigation into the case of the Ukrainian political prisoner Ivan Yatskin. It is expected that within the next two to three weeks, Ivan Yatskin will be convoyed to Crimea for further trial on the charge brought”,- the statement said.

We remind that in early December 2019, Russian security forces in the occupied Crimea detained Ivan Yatskin, a resident of Simferopol, on charges of alleged high treason. Subsequently, the man was transferred to Moscow. He was arrested until March 16, 2020. Ivan Yatskin's lawyer, Nikolai Polozov, signed a non-disclosure agreement in the so-called case.
