"Today the answer came from the court with the decision to refuse to accept the slawsuit." Allegedly, the actions of LLC "Kiramet" in no way affect the rights and freedoms, as well as the interests of my trustee (former head of the Bakhchisaray Historical and Cultural Reserve Elmira Ablyalimova – KR).  I consider this as an absolutely cynical message: the Khan Mosque is the only example of the Crimean Tatar palace architecture… In spite of this, the Russian court has refused the right to defend their national heritage in a legal way", – said Polozov.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

According to the lawyer, he intends to appeal this ruling in the Supreme "Court" of Crimea.<\/p>\n

Reference: last year, on the initiative of the occupation authorities of Crimea, the so-called restoration work of the Khan's palace began. The Crimean Tatar activists and human rights defenders have repeatedly stated that "under the guise of restoration work", the occupants are destroying the complex. So, as a result of the "work", elements of the cultural heritage were destroyed – wooden roof structures, cross beams, wall paintings, stained glass windows and much more.
