The dynamics of crime growth rate on peninsula was gathering pace in the following months. In August 2016, a record number of violations was registered since the beginning of 2016 &#8211; more than 100. According to this analysis, it can be argued that all offences in Crimea carried out by the occupation authorities are of political nature. The dynamics of growth of repressions in Crimea is connected with the activities of the Crimean Tatar national movement or historical dates traditionally celebrated by Crimean Tatars.
