The Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, announced that lists of Ukrainians who are being held captive in Russia or are considered missing in action have been handed over to the Turkish side. This issue was discussed during an online meeting with the Chief Ombudsman of Turkey, Mehmet Akar\u00e7a, and the coordinators of the families of prisoners of war and missing persons. Dmytro Lubinets reported this via his Facebook page.<\/div>\n
\nAccording to Lubinets, the lists include several priority categories: prisoners of war, those missing under special circumstances, seriously ill and seriously wounded persons, those who have been held captive long, as well as Ukrainian civilians illegally detained in Russia.<\/p>\n

The Ombudsman emphasized that the lists are compiled exclusively through the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, and families do not need to contact the Ombudsman’s Office separately. The main thing is to fill in and update the information in your personal account on the Coordination Headquarters website:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Families are advised to check that all information about the missing or captured person has been entered: health status, length of detention, date of disappearance. If there are any changes or missing information, it must be updated. It is also possible to contact coordinators or public organizations representing the interests of families, but this does not replace official registration \u2014 all data is synchronized with the Coordination Headquarters system.<\/p>\n
