This is particularly targeted at individuals associated with the organizations Hizb ut-Tahrir and Jehovah&#8217;s Witnesses, which are banned in Russia.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, 33 individuals involved in the activities of the Jehovah&#8217;s Witnesses organization are currently being illegally persecuted in the occupied Crimea.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nineteen people are subjected to restrictions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tamara Bratseva<br \/>\nBurik Vitaly<br \/>\nVoronchikhin Alexander<br \/>\nDemidoma Ekaterina<br \/>\nEfanov Ivan<br \/>\nZhiltsov Peter<br \/>\nZakharevich Dmitry<br \/>\nZinchenko Maksim<br \/>\nKopylets Alexander<br \/>\nKostenko Alexander<br \/>\nKuzio Daria<br \/>\nKuzio Taras<br \/>\nLyulin Sergey<br \/>\nLyakh Mark<br \/>\nMamedov Saleh<br \/>\nManukyan Tadevos<br \/>\nManya Viktor<br \/>\nChertov Vladimir<br \/>\nShabliy Artem<\/p><\/div>\n<div>\n<strong>In colonies there are 14 people:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Gerasimov Artem<br \/>\nGerashchenko Yuri<br \/>\nDubovenko Alexander<br \/>\nZhigalov Sergey<br \/>\nZhukov Evgeny<br \/>\nKudinov Viktor<br \/>\nLitvinyuk Alexander<br \/>\nMaladyka Vladimir<br \/>\nParfenovich Sergey<br \/>\nSakada Vladimir<br \/>\nStashevsky Viktor<br \/>\nUrsu Victor<br \/>\nFilatov Sergey<br \/>\nSchmidt Igor<br \/>\nIt should be recalled that in April 2017, the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation recognized the \u201cAdministrative Center of Jehovah&#8217;s Witnesses in Russia\u201d as an extremist organization, after which it banned the activities of all its cells on the territory of the Russian Federation and in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.<\/p><\/div>\n<div>\nAt the same time, in 2022, the European Court of Human Rights ruled that Russia&#8217;s ban on the Jehovah&#8217;s Witnesses organization and its persecution of its believers was illegal. The court ordered Russia to drop ongoing criminal cases and release prisoners.
