On Tuesday, April 15 at 10:30 a.m., the Crimean Tatar Resource Center at the Ukrainian Crisis Media Center will present an Analysis of Human Rights Violations in the Occupied Crimea for the first quarter of 2025. In addition, the CTRC will provide an analysis of human rights violations in Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions.<\/p>\n

The participants of the press conference will emphasize that the Russian Federation continues to systematically violate human rights, commit war crimes and crimes against humanity. Despite the difficult circumstances, it is extremely important to record every such case, because this will allow to bring all perpetrators to justice in the future. That is why the CTRC presents another quarterly analysis – as an integral part of the work of gathering evidence.<\/p>\n

Eskender Bariiev – Chairman of the Board of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, member of \u00a0Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people;<\/p>\n

Tetiana Savchuk – Communications Manager of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center;<\/p>\n

Liudmyla Korotkikh – Lawyer of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center;<\/p>\n

Sergey Doroshin – Deputy Head of the Main Investigation Department of the National Police Department in Crimea and Sevastopol, Colonel of Police;<\/p>\n

Alyona Veretelnikova – Senior Investigator of the SU of the Main Department of Investigation in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol city, Major of Police;<\/p>\n

Natalia Flouris – sister of Anatoliy Kobzar, who disappeared in the occupied Crimea;<\/p>\n

Leviza Virati – daughter of the deceased political prisoner Rustem Virati.<\/p><\/div>\n

The press conference will present an analysis of the illegal actions of the occupation authorities of Crimea, violations of the right to life, liberty, security and security of person (searches, detentions, interrogations, arrests, etc.), violations of fundamental freedoms (violation of the right to a fair trial, the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health, illegal deportations, etc.) for the first quarter of 2025. The speakers will also present an analysis of human rights violations in Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions.<\/p>\n

In addition, experts will talk about the Register of War Crimes, Crimes against Humanity and Human Rights Violations developed by the CTRC. This register is an important tool for state authorities to systematize data and effectively use it in investigations.<\/p>\n
