On the same day, the \u201ccourt\u201d chose a measure of restraint for four of them &#8211; Memet Lumanov, Aziz Azizov, Rustem Osmanov and Mustafa Abduramanov. They were sent to a pre-trial detention center.<\/div>\n<div>\nSubsequently, the \u201ccourt\u201d also sent residents of Dzhankoy and Dzhankoy district &#8211; Enver Khalillaev, Nariman Ametov, Ali Mamutov, Vahid Mustafaev and Arsen Kashka &#8211; to pre-trial detention centers. Former imam Remzi Kurtnezirov was assigned house arrest due to numerous illnesses.<\/p>\n<p>All those arrested are accused of participation in the organization \u201cHizb ut-Tahrir\u201d, which is banned in Russia. Most of the detainees are parents of multi-child families.<\/p>\n<p>It should be noted that the charges in this \u201ccase\u201d are based on the testimony of \u201chidden witnesses\u201d and the conclusion of so-called experts who actively cooperate with the Russian security forces. The consideration of the case took place in flagrant violation of international law.<\/p>\n<p>The Crimean Tatar Resource Center strongly protests and declares that this decision is illegal, politically motivated and criminal. This policy of the Russian Federation is a demonstration of the struggle against the political beliefs of citizens in the occupied Crimea.<\/p><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The CTRC demands that the Russian Federation immediately release all political prisoners in Crimea and calls on the international community to increase pressure on the Russian Federation to end political persecution in Crimea, as well as to impose personal sanctions on those responsible for human rights violations in Crimea.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A year ago, on March 5, Russian law enforcers searched 10 Crimean Tatars in the Bakhchisaray and Dzhankoy districts of the occupied Crimea.
