Three years ago, on February 24, 2022, Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, bringing pain, destruction and death. Since that day, the lives of millions of Ukrainians have changed forever. Sirens, explosions, bomb shelters, cold nights without light and heat – all of this has become a terrible reality for our people.<\/p>\n
Russia is not just waging war – it is committing genocide against Ukrainians. It deliberately destroys civilian infrastructure, attacks hospitals, schools, residential areas, abducts Ukrainian children, and tortures prisoners of war and civilians.<\/p>\n
In the 3 years of war:<\/p>\n
– The Russian army has fired more than 12 thousand missiles at the territory of Ukraine;<\/p>\n
– Thousands of people have been killed, millions have lost their homes;<\/p>\n
– More than 3 million Ukrainians have become internally displaced persons;<\/p>\n
– More than 3 million have been forced to go abroad and have not yet returned.<\/p>\n
But this war did not begin in 2022, it began in 2014 with the occupation of Crimea. For more than 11 years, residents of the peninsula have been living under the yoke of repression. Opponents of the occupation regime face arrests, torture and persecution. Now Russia is using the same methods in the newly occupied territories.<\/p>\n
Despite everything, Ukraine is standing! Over these three years:<\/p>\n
– Ukrainian military eliminated more than 860 thousand Russian invaders;<\/p>\n
– Over 127 thousand pieces of enemy equipment were destroyed;<\/p>\n
– The entire nation has become a united front in the struggle for freedom!<\/p>\n
This war has made us even stronger. We proved to the whole world that we are unbreakable. We united and became an unshakable shield against the aggressor. In just a few hours, we are raising millions to buy drones, equipment and weapons to protect our soldiers.<\/p>\n
We are grateful to every soldier, volunteer, doctor, activist – everyone who is fighting for Ukraine!<\/p>\n
We won’t stop until we get back every piece of our land!<\/p>\n
